Papa having some fun with his girlI can't believe that it has been a whole year that we have had Madison here with us. It has been so much fun having her around. I just love watching her grow and start to do new things every day. She is really starting to communicate with us so we can sort of understand what she wants. This year has been full of challenges for sure but she is all worth it.
Thanks to Renae for taking her birthday pictures, so I didn't have to worry about the camera! Such a big help. Thanks to Rachel, and Stephanie for helping make such a beautiful cake! Thanks to Mom and Dad for letting us use their house! It was a perfect day with perfect weather.
Who knows with the next one will show up. David is ready now, but I am the one on the fence, seeing that I am the one who has to grow it inside of me! Having Madison to chase around is a lot of work and very tiring so I can only imagine what it's going to be like when I am pregnant.
Wow! Time seriously flies! Happy birthday, Madison! Those pictures are priceless. Especially of all the kids lined up in a row! They will love that when they get older. And that cake is incredible! Fantastic first birthday, Mom!

In about 15 years they will probably be sitting around doing the same thing except then they will be crying over some boy. :) That was an amazing cake I can't believe your friends made it!!! It looks like a professional made it! Looks like it was a fun party. :)
